Topless Lexus - IS 250C Convertible
Lexus is going out topless with the new IS 250C convertible.
Lexus IS 250C displays how an auto maker can win back fans who have turned attention from their vehicles with sporty new curves and impressive extra features. Imagine cruising down a west coast highway, top down, in your Lexus and nothing but the wind and road ahead of you. This special retractable roof boasts the fastest opening time for a three-part roof design, with its lightweight aluminum structure folding down in 20 seconds.
The IS 250C launches with a smooth 205 horsepower 2.5-liter V6 engine and six-speed automatic transmission. It has been styled to offer minimal wind turbulence when driving topless, with extensive revisions to the body structure and suspension. It all provides the perfect degree of stability to ensure a level of ride comfort appropriate for a Lexus. The new convertible is the third model in IS range, joining the IS petrol and diesel-powered sports saloons in Europe and ultra-high performance 5.0-liter V8-powered IS F, introduced earlier this year. For those less adventurous, or living in colder/wetter climates, a coupe variant of the Lexus IS 250C is available.
