Built for leisure and the occasional weekend excursion, the 2008 Lexus SC 430’s quiet V8 engine will be just what you are looking for this year. More practical for only two in front, from lack of legroom in the back, this Lexus convertible upholds its reputation for quality and reliability. Though there are few changes from its predecessor, the updated features provide appealing quality of the new model. In less than 25 seconds, the SC 430’s hardtop will retract by the push of a button. Standard with 18-inch wheels, a navigation system, leather seating and adaptive HID headlights, this convertible communicates comfort.

This Lexus is able to Generate 288hp all-aluminum with its 4.3-liter, V8 engine. The rear wheel drive power creates the ability to hit 60 miles per hour in 5.8 seconds.

Front-seat and side-impact airbags are standard. Antilock brakes, stability control and traction control are also included safety features for the 2008 Lexus SC 430.

For ordinary excursions, the SC 430 is ideal; in luxury terms as well. The controlled exhaust makes for a quiet, slightly bumpy, ride; although, a bump will not interrupt the sensation of driving carefree.

The LS 460 includes adaptive xenon headlights, a sunroof, 18-inch allow wheels, keyless ignition, Bluetooth connectivity and power and heated front seats.

Side-impact airbags for the front seat, antilock breaks, an electronic stability system and knee-protection airbags for front passengers influenced the highest possible rating score conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

An optional feature for the LS is the Advanced Parking Guidance System. What’s so great about system is that it will parallel park or back your car into a parking spot. It creates a sense of depth and direction that allows it to know how much and when to turn the steering wheel.

Lexus knew what they were doing when they replaced their “sporty” IS 300 with the IS 250 and IS 350. The latest Lexus IS 250 is more fitted of a sports car, as well as being more deluxe version of its predecessor.

This four-door rear wheel drive Sedan encompasses a 204 horsepower, 2.5-liter V-6 engine. With a longer, more muscular look, the IS 250 is still a compact car. Some standard equipment includes 17-inch alloy wheels, leather seating, power front seats, automatic dual-zone climate control and a sunroof. Optional features come in packages that offer 18-inch alloy wheels, parking assist, ventilated front seats, satellite radio and a variety of other specials.

User-friendly controls on the dashboard are utilized by one of the best electronics interfaces. Even though the IS 250 added more legroom, this is still a pretty cramped car. Long road trips will not suffice for adults or taller passengers in back.

The 2008 Lexus IS 250 achieved the best possible rating for frontal-offset and side-impact crash tests. This may have been accomplished by the antilock disk brakes, stability control and twin-chamber front-passenger airbag that comes equipped with this sports car.

Overall, the IS 250 is suitable for the controlled, yet flexible, ride that it provides to its buyers and passengers.

Hybrid cars have been around for longer than we think. First experimented in the early 20th century, Hybrids have become a more recent phenomenon with the worries of our society draining a lot of our necessary resources. Hybrid vehicles are a step toward achieving a “greener economy.” This is accomplished by using electric and less gas mileage.

The 2008 Lexus GS 450 hybrid is currently the only midsize sport sedan with a hybrid power train. Spotlighting performance, this hybrid does not get as much fuel efficiency as other hybrids. The 3.5-liter V6 engine with a total of 240 horsepower still transmits 30 percent more fuel efficiency than a similar non-hybrid vehicle.

Quite similar to sister sedans in the GS family, the minor changes for the 450h includes a new grille, side mirrors and front bumper. Standard features that are only optional on the other GS sedans are rain-sensing windshield wipers, rear park assist and a moon roof.

More comfortable for four passengers, the GS 450h is spacious enough to accommodate five, but the trunk is slightly smaller. Bearing a flawless finish, the leather heated seats and wood and aluminum interior trim is suitable for the luxurious cabin. Customary with the vehicle is dual-zone automatic climate control, electric rear sunshade, power-adjustable front and a 10-speaker audio system.

Lexus’ standard Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management system features a complete set of electronic safety features. This comprises of antilock brakes, an electric stability system, electronic steering and electronic brakes.

The humble makeover for the GS 350 poses a threat to competitors via powerful V-6 engine and other improved qualities that makes this new Lexus more attractive. The 303 horsepower engine puts this sedan back in the running with its competitors.

Like several luxury cars, the side mirrors include turn signals. A new chrome grille has closer side headlights. What Lexus calls a new futuristic look for the GS, the steep back window and long side glass enhances the car’s performance. Xenon headlights, leather seating, 10-way power front seats, a six-CD changer with a cassette player and other amenities come standard for the GS 350.

The roomy cabin fits five passengers comfortably, giving the ten-way front seats heated leather upholstery. The push-to-start ignition and a variable transparency lens which reduces glares from the sun. The optional navigation system comes with Bluetooth and a rearview camera which is key for those who have trouble parallel parking.

Both the driver and passengers have customary front and knee airbags. Four-wheel-disc antilock brakes, an electronic stability system and traction control also are also standard safety features.

The abundant power of the 2008 Lexus GS 350 puts forward an overall gratifying experience for the driver. Effective responsiveness and assured stability is ideal for the almost-sport sedan admirers.

The Lexus ES 350 creates a new look for 2008. This revamped entry-level sedan has only minor changes, but enough to fashion a soothing experience for returning and new buyers. A couple of key changes are sleeker side mirrors and improved lighting for rear passengers.

The ES 350 awards the buyer with authentic class when it comes to the style, quality and other features. For added comfort, the familiar shape of the car is two inches more in the wheelbase and over an inch of track. The sunroof, dual exhaust tips, in-dash CD changer of six disks and 17-inch allow wheels come standard. A panoramic glass roof, which adds another glass panel above the rear seat, is optional for the sedan.

Lexus lives up to luxury standards with its top quality interior fabric, as well as user-friendly features. Not only is the Lexus ES 350 quite spacious, the engine starts with the push of a button so there is no need to fumble for keys. Quality cool air circulation is reassuring for the optional ventilated seats.

Safety is one of the most important features when looking for a sedan. All-disc antilock brakes, eight airbags and an Adaptive Front Lighting System reassure security the driver and its passengers.

Zero to sixty in 7.1 seconds is hushed for the 272-hp, 3.5-liter V6 engine. One of the quietest cars will stand out extraordinarily for the Lexus ES 350.
