LF-A Concept is Future of Lexus Sex Appeal

Lexus has been testing out their new Production model LF-A Coupe like crazy on Germany tracks and streets. We think they’re teasing us car fanatics – but the Lexus LF-A is nearing its public debut at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show.

The Lexus LF-A isn’t slated to be released for sale until sometime in 2011 – which is a shame. This car could really help a company like Lexus shine above other luxury car companies during a time when one false move can cost you a bankruptcy. From what we’ve seen in spyshots – the LF-A looks to bring a new sexiness to the Lexus fleet. Concept drawings show off a beautiful curved front end and a low swooping roof and rear window, which stop at a retractable (yes, retractable) wing. Two versions are lined up for assembly – a 3.8-liter twin turbo V6 with 485 horse power and a V10 engine with over 500 horses.

And all that horse power is one of the many reasons why Lexus will enter the LF-A in 2009’s 24-hour Nürburgring race, happening from May 21st to the 24th. A V10 model engine will be used during the competition. We hope the LF-A can place in the top three in Germany!
