Lexus Taxi Was Made For The Big Apple

Last year Lexus and the New York Taxi & Limousine Commission assigned a new Lexus RX400 Hybrid to their fleet. This unique luxury hybrid SUV make getting around Manhattan a treat. Good luck talking the driver into taking you North of the 130’s.

It looks as though this particular cab is privately owned, judging from the plethora of American/Troop Support stickers. There may be a yellow ribbon magnet, but it blends in too well. Wonder what the city is paying for this livery cab? Average MSRP for a 2010 RX400h ranges from $38,165 – $43,345. With that you get leather seating, room for 6 and 3.3 liter V6 268 horse power engine.
