Lexus Nuaero Concept or Lexus Does Blade Runner
Lexus has always been at the forefront of impressive automotive design - but we think designer Jon Rådbrink has been up late watching the new special edition of Blade Runner on Blu Ray. His Nuaero concept looks like a cross between Harrison Ford’s flying Spinner police car and something you attack with a can of Off bug spray. But the Nuaero is just how cars in the future may be built - low weight and visually captivating.

Not only will the Lexus of the Future look…well…futuristic, it will be loaded with top of the line technology in order to make your driving experience as unique as it can be. Operators will use “drive-by-wire steering pads” along with a “customizable multi-point touch screen.” mounted on its dash board. Rådbrink has also eliminated foot pedals - Nuaero will be controlled completely through your steering wheel. Built into each of the four wheels you will find separate electric motors to power Nuaero, cutting out a transmission all together. So no worries about eventually dropping a few hundred dollars on replacing one. Braking occurs when the pilot pushes the steering wheel forward, almost like an airplane. Lexus may help guide the driver into our inevitable commuting future.
