The LS 460 is available as a full-size sedan or a more long-wheelbase limousine-like model. Overall, the 2008 Lexus LS 460 remains mostly unchanged aside from a new air suspension package and a new color is introduced, Opaline Pearl.Aside from optional packages which include satellite radio, park assist and 19-speaker Mark Levinson surround-sound, the Lexus has plenty of standard features to keep one satisfied. The LS 460 includes adaptive xenon headlights, a sunroof, 18-inch allow wheels, keyless ignition, Bluetooth connectivity and power and heated front seats.
Side-impact airbags for the front seat, antilock breaks, an electronic stability system and knee-protection airbags for front passengers influenced the highest possible rating score conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
An optional feature for the LS is the Advanced Parking Guidance System. What’s so great about system is that it will parallel park or back your car into a parking spot. It creates a sense of depth and direction that allows it to know how much and when to turn the steering wheel.
Equipped with a 380-horsepower, 4.6-liter V-8 engine, the rear wheel drive operates with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 2008 Lexus LS 460 can reach zero to sixty in a mere 5.8 seconds.
